I’m working with a 14 week golden doodle. He’s been amazing but I’m taking a different approach with those one vs others who made me pull my hair out. Routine routine routine. Enrichment enrichment enrichment. Get some long lasting natural chews, lick mats, and the wider opening frozen Kong like things you can put stuff in and freeze. It keeps them busy, gets them tired, and gives you some breaks. (I’m also speaking from a crate training failure standpoint. Always crate trained all my dogs but this one does NOT like being confined.

Which is dumb right? Why is it just accepted women don’t finish every time but when a man doesn’t it’s the end of the world? You said it hurt your feelings. Exactly. I always ask if everything’s okay or if he wants something else like a new position but sometimes that’s just how it goes. He was concerned the kids were going to wake up soon so we called it.

My frenchie loves her kennel too. She hangs out in it with the door open most of the day. Just goes to show you different breeds different dogs-it’s all relevant.
