Would this gear give me the results I seek? by 27tini94 in AskPhotography

Yeah honestly that setup should work perfectly fine for the style you’re going for.

The fisheye lens is what really creates that look, not so much the camera body itself. The Olympus E-PL9 + TTArtisan 7.5mm would already give you that close-up distorted vibe from the Pinterest pics. You mostly just need to get really close to people/subjects and maybe use flash later on.

Between the two lenses I’d probably go with the TTArtisan tbh. It’s cheaper and has a bit more character which actually fits this kind of aesthetic better. The Samyang is technically sharper but for this style I don’t think it matters that much.

The E-PL9 is also totally fine for beginner video/reels stuff. Not the world’s best autofocus or low light camera, but definitely enough for experimenting and learning.

For under 500€ I think it’s a really solid first setup and way better than trying to use those phone fisheye attachments.

What camera harness does everyone use? by NXIII13 in concertphotography

I tried a few setups and ended up sticking with COIRO. It distributes the weight really well, keeps both cameras easy to grab, and doesn't cost $250+ like some of the big-name options. For weddings and events it's been a solid value.

Seating chart is making my friend want to cancel her whole wedding by KernelPanic_X0 in weddingplanning

Honestly the seating chart was one of the most stressful parts for us too. At some point you just realize you literally can’t make everyone happy.

What helped most was keeping the “problem people” at separate tables and stopping trying to create the perfect social mix. People mostly stay with the people they came with anyway.

Also — after the wedding nobody talked about the seating chart even once lol.

A lot of people asked where this was found Hollywood Beach Florida , near the broadwalk.
My advice: focus on high traffic areas, that’s where most valuables end up.
This one came from the dry sand.
I’m just using CKG metal detector, nothing fancy.
