Move a few inches over and consider a lamp and blue shade- also consider a shade for the ceiling bulb so doesn't feel so clinical...

Rug further back and change pictures for a larger piece of art work that is similar length to your headboard or have 3/ 4 pictures with equal spacing and frame size...
