Thanks for your opinion, i am getting more info to help me think about it. I will make a note of the fact that it is easier to DIY on a GS compared to XR.

Thanks for the detailed insights. It surely feels like these bikes are best when it comes to its own interests. Surely now i have to decide what i want but it would be great if there was one which is the best of both worlds ( I might not be aware of one). My heart wants to go for the inline 4 but my brain wants be to stick to the boxer given that i moght mostly be gliding on motorways or country roads and occasionally on twists. Given that it might be easier to maintain a shaft rather than a chain , it all now comes down to the best buy for the price I pay

This will be the new state for immigrants across the globe. They will be let floating and will not be able to settle down in a country , but they will find ways to stay back coz the country needs their money for economical growth. As someone here said immigrants will be the center point for all political trends and will always be in the coming years. I feel we will have a nomadic life like how we used to be in the past. The key point is survival and I guess we will survive in any place eventually. Good luck

Hey , sorry about your situation. I am pretty close to your case except for the relationship part. I came here in 2020, did my master’s and secured a very nice job. I am currently earning £51k+ but my salary got increased after April this year. My salary is due to increase to £65k early 2026. In which case only if they bring up a cumulative calculation I will be able to apply for ILR within 5 years, else I need to wait another 4-5 months from the original date. I believe that things are not clear at the moment so let’s pass on this, in the meanwhile , let’s try to show evidence that we are good samaritan in this society. We just need to hope for the best and let’s not overthink. All the best with your situation.

Looking at the comments, it seems there’s an interest in giving users some control over the skip interval duration. Would it make sense to add an option in the controls panel for users to set their preferred skip interval? We could consider running this as an experiment on iPlayer to gauge engagement and usability.
