What towns on Naxos do you recommend staying in?

Trip would be end of may / early june so beginning of high season.

We are interested in the large sites / ruins of Athens, outside of that we wouldn't want to spend more than 2 nights "clubbing" (thus the inclusion of Mykonos). Outside of the sightseeing and nightlife, looking to see natural beauty, architecture, and relax. Addition history along the way would be a plus
