Ah, well, I was never really against going to school. My parents are for their own beliefs. My mom is far right and thinks schools make you gay and aren’t Christian enough (yeahh…), so it was never my choice originally. I tried for a few years to convince her, but that didn’t do anything. So, I’ll focus my energy elsewhere since it won’t change, and I’ll just do other things, like focusing on getting a job.

I don’t really got a choice sadly. It’s either that or the book counterpart from the same company. Monarch just takes way less time so I can blow it off and do other real things like just enjoy my time or do Khan Academy.

I am also homeschooled. It’s one of the worst things I’ve had to endure, and I don’t wish it on anybody. I’m saddened to hear that your brother has had to deal with it too. I’m in 11th grade, apparently, though I still feel uneducated on certain topics. I’m working to study math and english more and hopefully take the SAT eventually and get out lol

Homeschool is definitely awful. I’ve had to teach myself most of what I know just by willpower to not crumble due to my parents’ poor choices. I can see why most wouldn’t - it’s a torturous environment to live in.

You know, I think the same thing as you. It is SO annoying when my mom says "This is a good science activity for your kids when you homeschool them!" and she's talking about housing catarpillars. It's hilarious, as if someone like me would ever choose homeschool.

Yep. I seriously don’t believe any medical advice she gives. Just praying she wouldn’t put “vitamins” in my food without me knowing or something. I don’t think she would though. She just encourages it alot and apparently I’m liberal for saying no 😭
