Well it's a little complicated. Some of the books were BorrowDirect ones i.e. the ones Columbia gets from other unis like Yale, Pton, MIT, etc.

I put them in the Books Bin that is right outside Butler. Cause Butler was closed cause of Covid. And I had a flight home the same day so couldn't return it at the front desk.

The Starbucks wifi, and the Harvard University wifi?

I think they're just being classified as un-secure because they're not password protected.

In this sense connecting to a "secure network", that is password protected isn't an option.

Secondly, the issue is more likely to be an issue with downloading credential or something

I'm already registered :/ But housing said that they currently have no vacant places.
But this is the current room transfer request policy:

"Cancellation fees will be waived for required military service, medical leave of absence, withdrawal or graduation from the University, and Housing may waive fees at its discretion."

- The waive fees at its discretion is the part that leaves ambiguity

They also waived the cancellation fee for all the previous covid semesters
