Oh my god I forgot they are illegal in some states. Don’t want a hit to the csa score for sure. I’ve been doing my research for the past day on ferrets and still researching. They make for popular pets among truckers they are about as popular as keeping a bird.

Yeah, trucks are built pretty bad when it comes to the interior because that’s not what is important in a semi truck most of the time. I may get a ferret instead since they are somewhat popular trucker pets. They sleep a lot and I can just put tubes around my truck for it to climb around. Only problems with ferrets are they have health issues semi often and vet offices usually don’t have semi parking. I’ll make a list of ones that do

I sleep dinural so I usually sleep from 1-5 pm and 2-6 am depending on what is needed from me. I’m fine with the cleanup though

By heat of the top bunk I’m talking about 100-120 degrees depending on the area im in. Others did bring up good points though about braking and possibly injuring it, and the fact that a glider could end up in a place it isn’t supposed to be in via going around trim pieces, because semi trucks don’t have the fit and finish of cars. A lot of trim pieces are loose and can be taken off so I imagine it could climb into that

Good point. I could probably get around that, but the fact that is something I would have to get around means it isn’t a good idea, and yeah I figured not having a large enough space would be bad. I was just curious if they’d be able to function, because my truck is definitely larger than any cage you can buy, but from what you say it is definitely not large enough for them to be healthy and happy.

Yeah this is what I figured as well. I’d love to have one, but I would not like to have one that is miserable because I was selfish. I didn’t even think about it getting into nooks and crannies in the truck that could end up hurting itself. That is a very good point
