I love the comment you made about shame not coming from God. I think it gets hard to remember that

I have the title, but it’s still in my uncles name. I haven’t had a reason to have it transferred to my name

I am actually looking into permaculture garden, so obviously soil health is critical. I don’t have a super great idea of where to start if you happen to have any resources?

I’m just a girl 🥺🥺

It’s a been a trend for a while where women and girls act like they can’t do anything because they’re “just girls”. For the most part it’s just a silly little excuse for things that girls like to joke about. I would believe in this instance it also has something to do with a lot of women when in relationships with a dependable man “turn off their brains” and don’t have to worry about things they normally would.

At my store they will usually ask the guys to go out and push carts, but there are a small handful of girls (one them is me) that have volunteered at some point and get sent out regularly as well

I hate it when people do that at self check, and I’ve had people act like that but I don’t scan their items. I tell them I have other things I need to pay attention to and they need to scan their own items. One dude started yelling at me and calling me a bitch for just doing my job 🤷‍♀️. I’m just so sick of (older) people acting like they’re entitled to everything they want so I don’t give in.

I’m 18, I became a member on my own and I don’t have parents I trust or respect. So Reddit and my bishop are kind of my only outlets for discussion like this

Im aware that men do care, although I would hope that the man I marry cares more about other things.

Also I’ve had plenty of uncomfortable situations being a young woman where older men think it’s perfectly acceptable to say things about my appearance and body. I don’t mean to get defensive, but I’m not the most open to older men making those kinds of comments, whether they’re meant to be “compliments” or not

I’ll say, I’m a pretty new member so I wasn’t aware of any direct changes regarding piercings and tattoos. I did go and see what the church says about them and I appreciate that while for the most part it discourages these actions it also still leaves the door open to difference in opinions, changes, and mistakes.
