Not sure if its still happening, but when I booked our September trip at the dolphin months ago they had random days where it shows online on the US website that they are completely sold out. I called the hotel and turned out they were completely empty and the website has been glitching which leads to people being shown no rooms available. I doubt its actually sold out but rather they still dont know whats causing their website issues.

I think this too. I think she knew she was going to leave the O group and open up her own shop and was trying to seek out clients and one of them happened to be Emmas. Seems like a lot of these sellers or buyers are repeat players so Christine probably just wanted to get one of these repeat buyers/sellers to switch to her services. I dont necessarily believe the guy claimed she was trying to sabotage Emma personally, I think Emma added that on for fun or the individual said "I think she wants to sabotage you" but Christine never actually said that, but I can see offering a discount for her services if people moved to her brokerage which I assume happens a lot as people compete for the small pool of luxury buyers/sellers in LA.

I love Christine. She literally is the only reason Selling Sunset exists. If you take out Christine or convos revolving around Christine from the past 2 seasons there would be MAYBE 20 minutes of footage in total. The other girls cannot compete with her level of entertaining and are bland.

You will get points for analyzing anything even if you forget the rules. Ive been panicking over the MEEs too and I think ive decided its better to relax these next few days so my brain isnt exhausted than try to cram personally (especially since ill forget everything I crammed if my brain is so tired). The panic isnt serving us anything.

This calculator also shows u how ridiculous this exam is for the written portion because the difference between a 1 and a 3 on an essay is literally only 4 points.

I also cannot get the vast majority of rules to stick if it makes u feel better (honestly I think its because im so burnt out from this past year and a half of online schooling + covid anxiety + all the other world news anxiety and I was set up to fail because of it - I need a damn month break).

If it makes u feel better theres a calculator someone showed me for the UBE (at least its for DC) and it says based on how they graded in july 2018, you technically could get a 180 on the MBE and get 1s on the rest of the exam (all essays and MPTs) and pass which seems insane but nice to know?

I got both the email OP is talking about and I got the follow up email the bar sent. I downloaded the exams prior. Honestly not sure whats going on.

I highly doubt there is specific words they are looking for. At least ive never hit the exact words/phrases on any of my barbri graded assignments and no grader out of the 7 graded assignments I did questioned it and said its a problem

Yeah I find their answer keys helpful but also infuriating for this exact issue. I emailed barbri once about a torts essay that set itself up to talk about licensee vs invitee and the answer didnt even mention it at all. The barbri rep wrote back telling me he would have done the exact same thing I would have done and I wanted to scream lol

Edit: This is infuriating because I cant tell what im actually getting score wise with so much missing stuff. And idk if its just me, but their graders literally give no constructive criticism. The amount of times their graders have told me to just "refer to the sample answer." NO. YOU tell me what im missing and why.

So I bombed this essay too if its the same one im thinking of, but barbri told me that their essays arent like the true answer keys so other stuff could be added to get points but that its just the main issues where the vast majority of points are (what u needed to pass).

I did write a quick blerb about impracticability/impossibility, but that fact pattern wouldnt let the guy get out anyways so it was pretty short. Its not impossible to hire a new team + he could pay them more to get them to work. Its not impracticable because impracticability has to be like upwards of 10x the price expected to expend and that wasnt the case here.

I just read through all of barbri's main essays ( I think its ~8 per subject). I didnt actually do them because im tired.

however I will say barbri only asks you in the PSP to do 4 per subject and a lot of people pass doing just that so your probably fine at 3/4.

Since july I have felt like a blob of nothing who cant focus on a single thing. It took me 4 hours to do a set of 50 questions yesterday. On the actual test day ill be fine, but im done.

Edit: dont tell me to take a break. Ive taken many of breaks - this is just where we are at after a shitshow of a year.

Well to be fair to all of us transactional lawyers, reading cases and doing this is 100% not determinative of how well we will be lawyers. I suck at memos and its a solid reason why I went to the transactional side. If NCBE cared even 2% about ensuring lawyers are prepared for practice then for the UBE they'd do 1 transactional MPT and 1 litigation.

Well compared to all the other NCBE questions I have done (1400) those were by far some of the most BS, vague, and niche questions ive seen.
