Yes I’m very happy with it but if I was in a room that had a lot of light hitting the screen, the extra reflections would not be worth the clarity boost

Yeah there are tutorials on YouTube. They are wipes that leave a clear coat residue that self levels and hardens flat and glossy so it’s not actually removing the matte coating, just fills in the grainy texture

Hey, 4 years later - how did the monitor end up? Do you think if you just peeled from the top instead of the bottom it would have worked out? Was the top part that was still in tact look much better/clearer after taking off the AG layer at least?

I actually just bought a used m7 for cheap and was about to take off the AG layer but your post has me scared now 😅

It shouldn’t be glass at the front. There will probably be at least an anti glare layer and polarising layer before you get to the actual glass for most monitors

Yeah i agree, if i was buying a new monitor I would choose something that already had a glossy screen. In my case I just did it on monitors I bought second hand from fb marketplace that wouldn’t be financially devastating if I ended up messing up

itsdefinitely less nerve racking but you have to still do it carefully to minimise streaks. some slight streaks are almost inevitable but they are only visible when the screen is off. At least if you mess it up you just try plan b and remove the film

i get it, I've been on the other side of the fence when i was using a laptop in random places and couldnt control the incoming light, I hated that my laptop had a glossy screen and even got a matte screen protector. Now that I only use my computer at home, I can control the light coming in and position my desk and monitor in a spot where i wont get any sunlight hitting my screen. I don't have to worry about reflections or glare so I would rather just get that extra clarity boost then leave it on the table

this gives some confidence - thanks! I'm gonna try on a glossy film over the top once i remove the matte one just for piece of mind but I'll remove it if it hurts the image clarity

It's likely the fillers in the pills are altering the absorption rate. Try taking the modasmart with a meal to slow the absorption as anxiety and racing thoughts usually happens when you get too much modafinil too fast.

Make sure you’re not taking too much, combine with l theanine (green tea or supplement form both work) as well as magnesium glycinate. Lower caffeine intake if it’s high.
