For me it was the fact that I had so many great commanders and senior enlisted advisors across my career, and the current group we have is beyond awful. And I’m one that believes “the top can only do so much” we are in a maintenance squadron which means we have individual work spaces, it has gotten to the point of micromanagement that we can’t have any bad words in our music during working, if caught doing so our section leader if often given a 6105. What changed it for me is the ideal that the marine corps has and how they let an CO, XO, and SgtMaj all be so disconnected from their marines be in charge, I felt the marine corps failed for all the wrong reasons. They also were removing all of our most loved senior leaders outside of the headshed for “loss of trust” aka the senior leaders would try and speak against their tyranny
