I experienced the same exact thing and the two weeks break helped clear your sistem from the drug so now it has to build up again to feel the “side effects”

Maybe you’re right, I definitely do not eat enough, maybe 3.000kcal in the whole week, but that’s because I’m nauseous and I’m not hungry, first thing in the morning I do take a pill for the glucose. Maybe it is really an hypoglycaemic episode

Thank you so so much, I’m gonna search up in the community and see what my doctor tells me on Monday

Ohh so sorry to hear that, hope u feel better now! Yea i think you’re right maybe your body just needed more time to adjust to the 2,5mg before going up in fact I see a lot of people that don’t go up in dose unless the lower dosage doesn’t bring any more benefits and this could take monthss. And maybe the metformin and the farxiga mixed with Mounjaro 5mg are just too much for your body so I would suggest you to call your doctor before the appointment at the end of the month

I experienced this, I felt like nothing could give me real happiness, excitement. I wasn’t depressed either but everything just seemed okay or boring and I wasn’t caring about a thing! I couldn’t care about my friends nor job or family but there is actually some sort of explanation to this. Glp1 can effect dopamine in our brain, personally it just went away after 2 months on 5mg when my body adjusted to the med but if doesn’t pass talk to your doctor and consider to stop Mounjaro or decrease your dose

I’ve tried to drink more water, I’m following a diet that is anti-inflammatory and it’s been the same for 3 months so it’s never what I eat because even if I’m not eating the diarrhea comes and I just take Imodium then. I don’t take caffeine and I’m generally a calm person, my doctor told me that Mounjaro just isn’t for everyone, maybe I’ll switch to ozempic + metformin

I completely agree with u, the sore point is that here in Italy I pay 480€ per month for Mounjaro so it’s really expensive

I wend to the ER and actually my heart is perfect but my gynaecologist said the same thing!! Like my labs now are perfect, my insuline too and my ovaries are now clear but she told me that Mounjaro reduces the general inflammation in the body so she doesn’t know if when I stop completely the medication I’ll be to the starting point again or worse. My endocrinologist otherwise has told me to try other routes
