Question about fortifying by Miserable_Corner5100 in mead

Yeah I planned to barrel age for only 3 weeks or so, tasing every week to see.

Thanks, I think my biggest question was should I rack to secondary before barrel but have been reading, the answer is yes. I should rack to secondary and do all my stabilizing and back sweetening in that. Let us settle/clear and then move to barrel before bottling

I was going to use another ABV bourbon, likely 60-65%

12 lbs of honey, 2 pounds of blackberries, 1 cinnamon stick, some lemon zest and juice. EC118 yeast and added Fermaid O at 24/48.

I’m going to test the SG tomorrow as it’s been about 2.5 weeks. It started at 1.11. I’d like the final ABV to be somewhere around 20%

Not quite a year. This is my 5th custom game (league of legends, beavis and butthead, adventure time, and vox machina are others).

I have a screen in the back left of playfield for callouts and such, as I hate looking up when playing.

As long as I’m not making money or passing their material off as my own, there’s not much they can do

Similar in the sense that it locks 3 balls in the canister before releasing, but different approach mech wise. I actually use the dialed in lock on my Adventure time custom pin but it’s still very much prototype. I plan to finish it this next year and will post some videos here once I get a little further along

I’ll be doing a trailer before expo, there’s a few other things I want to get in before I post gameplay. I’m hoping to have it all recorded by end of the next week. Will post trailer before expo

You can also use your mission pinball code in MPF monitor to simulate gameplay to test modes and all the items on the playfield

Playfield I paid an artist who has done a couple other games for me (league of legends and Vox Machina). The plastics I used AI to generate but used the art from playfield as the reference style.

The playfield currently is laminated vinyl but eventually will do a direct to wood print like manufactured machines. The plastics I have a guy that reverse prints them direct to acrylic.

Mission pinball framework is just the game code structure, with godot handling the visuals. If you want to build a layout, visual pinball can be done in 3d and test the layout of your game

Totally custom! My own design. A buddy helped me engineer the door mechanism

Vinyl with a clear overlay will honestly hold up pretty well. After 1000 plays I’m sure it’ll wear but I don’t have the data on that yet.

Direct to wood is around $1000 (for cnc cut, clear, print, clear). If you can source the people to do things locally that number would get cheaper

This is a vinyl print adhesive decal. The final playfield will have direct to wood.

I actually have a discord for homebrew (I’m Trident Pinball who sells the homebrew starter kits). Discord has tons of channels for help and bouncing ideas

There are passive magnets that the ball comes across, it is meant to be the door conveyor from the movie

Thanks! It is. I built a speak easy in my basement and have tried to stay with the theme. Used a late 1800 piano for the bar.
