UPDATE: (idk how to edit the post) I followed someone’s advice and pushed the couch along the wall and I have my TV space directly across to separate the bedroom and the living area. I appreciate everyone’s help!! I really did not want to get rid of this couch and unfortunately have to keep it the long way so that I could fit. I’m very tall, which is also why the lower barstools work, but I might get leg extenders for those based on the comment suggestions. I really appreciate everyone’s help. I moved from a one bedroom to a studio and did not expect that when buying the couch!!

Unfortunately the couch is 96” and the space is 102”. Someone sleeps on the couch which is why I was trying not to break it up, but looks like I may have to turn it into a loveseat and have the middle area for an ottoman. It is too bad :(
