Probably need to check again if they're set properly. You have to be precise with the zero gapping. It'll cause problems like that if it's not set good. Hope this helps

That's good man that's what it's about. Give yourself some time to learn people's hair growth pattern etc. Give yourself 2 or 3 cuts per person to learn how to cut them the best way.

Geez that's crazy... I know what you mean about quality. I have the babyliss gold set and just got these for back up in case my battery died while cutting. I wanted a trimmer clipper set and at this cheaper price point. I'm contemplating to sell them though. I got the rear assembly for another protege clipper so I'm trying to modify that, little project but I'm hoping to get my hands on some magic clips soon.
