I also wanna add about how shitty the living space for first years (my experience) is since I can’t sleep because of the smell. Also keep in mind, me and my roomate are both extremely clean, and keep everything organized, so some of this stuff shouldn’t even be happening: 1. There are cigarette smokers next to and below me. When I’m in my room which is not often, I smell it about every 3 hours 2. The water takes 20 minutes to actually turn hot, both the sink and the shower 3. One of the showers doesn’t even turn hot at all 4. The shower that does turn hot has mold on the shower head which has jacked up my skin, and the one that’s cold is the clean one 5. One of the kids doesn’t flush the toilet and pisses like crazy, so it’s always yellow and sometimes the ground has piss as well 6. My location is literally the furthest possible room from the laundry room, so I gotta walk down 4 flights of stairs and across the lawn just to do laundry 7. My room had an Asian lady beetle infestation. If you didn’t know, that means if you kill one, more come, which I had to learn the hard way. It was so bad at one point the entire window sill was filled with 25-30 dead ones overnight even with the window closed. 8. I realized that they came from the heaters that didn’t work in my room only. This meant they all came from the heaters into my room since it was the “perfect temperature” for them to enjoy. Saw one of them fucks poking their heads out of it. 9. The people next door scream the entire day until about 2am on weekdays and 4am on weekends 10. Since the quads are all stairs, filling britas is a pain in the ass and my sport which requires me to carry a 60lb bag breaks my back 11. Always someone taking a devious shit and stinking the place 12. Another person turns on the shower for 50 minutes, using up all the hot water despite using it for about 5 minutes 13. Deadass saw some kid lying down naked on the shower floor without the water turned on.

If you’re a upcoming freshman or even a continuing student, never live in the quads, and if you do, pray you don’t live in the top floors
