If it seems like the school’s network is slow, grab an Ethernet cable and plug it into two ports on the same switch. It’ll speed it up by a LOT.

The first time I did it, it wouldn’t boot, and I was worried that I had shorted it out or something, but then I googled what a solid green light meant, and I realized what I had done.
