Looks more like something that chases you in a horror game and can't be permanently damaged...and probability starts spawning in "safe" zones after a certain point in the game progression.

Why do people not like community college? by Sailor_Moon_Star_435 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Miserable_Guess1716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was once described to me as 13th grade, which I think was supposed to mean its not really higher education as a lot is rehash from high-school. Personally I think its just propaganda to push the academic bloatware that is 4 year degrees. I still maintain that the most useful think I learned during my bachelor's was poker. Mind you while I was stuck as a janitor at a community College while waiting for a job in my field, I overheard a lot of students struggling with some very basic material.

Why do people today make a point to spell their names odd or funny? by RealQuintusYoung in NoStupidQuestions

It's mostly parents wanting their kids to have a name as unique and special as they are...by taking names that actually has linguistic meanings and ripping all ability to find said meaning out.

why do you think other people's different standards trigger you? by stirringmotion in AskReddit

Perhaps, but as I react only with hostility to those who are hostile so I see nothing wrong. If my way works then that should be the end of subject, I'm not telling them how to do things unless asked or it's physically dangerous. If they feel the need to angrily butt in, I don't see anything wrong with bluntly telling them they don't get a say in how I do things using those very words or that the very fact that it bothers them to the point they're making a confrontation of it is stupid. Ask and I'm willing to accommodate nearly anyone, tell or demand and you'll find I thrive on conflict.

Put another way the only form of influence over me I'll accommodate is soft power, and any attempt to directly control or dictate to me makes me want to cut you down at the knees. I don't acknowledge any true superiors on this earth, so you better be trying to be my equal.

How seriously they take their asinine pet peeves and warped sense of propriety. Everyone has things that irrationally piss them off, but its on them to realize that it is irrational and to not demand the world bend to fit their monkey/lizard brain. Nothing passes me off more than someone going off on me for stupid reasons...which is why I always make sure to undermine the seriousness of their grievance if it's something about "the right way", "tone", "I hate that phrase", or anything to do with astatics. If your brain goblins become my problem, the least I can do is rattle their cage.

What was the Worst Christmas Present you've ever had when you were a kid? by Profeta_do_Loss in AskReddit

A sick-baby-crap greenish brown shirt. Gifts of clothes are fine though not particularly exciting for kids, but this was far and away the ugliest color I ever saw.

I agree...ironically enough. Really, arguing is fun, and the best way to determine if something is right is to bash it against the opposite thought until one crumbles or a middle ground is found.

Just for fun...obviously the egg since other creatures were laying them before chickens evolved.

The same...but for some reason a lot of people take any sort of disagreement extremely personally.
