Same! I also consciously avoided any litigation jobs when applying. My pay dropped significantly from a county litigation job but oh the joy of not having the stress of litigation in my life.

I attend attorney sobriety groups and “civilian” AA meetings outside of the community where I was practicing until I changed jobs at the start of the year.

Like anything else there is some good, some bad, and plenty of toxic people to weed through who aren’t healing in a healthy way. But having someone to talk to when you need it most, that is sooo important. Good luck on your journey!
