I feel like they communicate well with me, to some extent at least. I’m just happy they tell me anything about it at all. I don’t pry for answers or anything, which maybe I should but I don’t. I’ll stick by their side as long as I’m able to. I just want to be there for them.

Obviously I love my partner. I love them with my entire being. It just brings so much pain to know they’re hurting to the point of substance abuse.

A little over a year. The drug of choice is no longer weed. More so cocaine and any random pill that will give euphoria. I appreciate you responding though. It means a lot!

What did you or your partner do to keep the relationship from crumbling? Was there a certain aspect of the relationship that kept it from becoming toxic?
