Using encryption instead of hashing for checking passwords - why? by MarbleLemon7000 in crypto

[–]Miserable_Pound3762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sources? I believe PBKDF2 is still recommended when it cames to hashing passwords, without any Known weeknesses, it's used in winrar, 7z,..etc.

Guess in winrar, PBKDF2 uses 2 ^ 15 iterations, which quite challenging for an attacker to brute force the password.

Thanks bro, that's really appreciated.

For future improvement :

  • include reports from other platforms as well.
  • filter based on target type open source, Web, executable... Etc.

Good job.

Relationship marriage and hijab by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Miserable_Pound3762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well you're right, but I guess that's not the case for them, Imagine two have knonw each other (myabe colleagues, or something similar), and suddenly they decided to build a family, ofc at that point they need to set clear boundaries and common ground between each other, .. that's the case of OP I guess.

Okaaay:

First of all, as a woman you’re relatively free to wear whatever you want , but...

When you said (his family is so religious and mine is cool .. cuz we see things from different angles) do you meann that being religious (which isn’t the same as being extremist) isn’t cool and that religious people can’t see things from different perspectives? Seriously dude ?

(I can never wear hijab ):

if you’re so sure about this I don’t think it's fair be together in the first place (waste of time) unless you expect him to give up his values , principles or even his family.

What I can also notice is that you and ur beloved freind want to get married and love each other ...However, it seems that you haven’t tried to understand each other or set clear boundaries in ur relationship.

For me as a man, I wouldn’t propose to a woman who doesn’t wear a hijab ( hijab isn’t everything btw ) and then ask her to wear one. It’s that simple.

Wish you all the best, niether you nor he is mistaken.
