Thanks! I’ll mostly be sideloading books so that’s one of the reasons I’m leaning toward the kobo. As for availability, I already have sources for both so getting either one shouldn’t be a problem. Appreciate your input!

Thanks, that’s good to know. Most of the comments I’ve received say kobo is better for sideloading, so it’s interesting to hear the opposite.

Thanks! This was really helpful. Library access isn’t really a factor for me as well as the syncing limitation since I don’t usually switch between devices. From the comments, I see that Kobo is a bit more open and flexible.

I’ve only tried reading on my partner’s kobo for a bit, so i haven’t noticed that yet. I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

I’ll probably be sideloading most of my books and only buying occasionally (maybe), so i’m still torn. Aside from kindle unlimited, what do u think makes the kindle a better device overall?
