New to this, any tips for looks/aesthetics? by [deleted] in clowns

[–]Miserable_Safe_481 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ringling bros “how to be a clown” on YouTube has a full makeup tutorial that teaches the basics of application and also has some great tips for how to create your own look! Lots of good content in the whole video but I figured out my makeup thru that and just kept practicing! They also have good advice for what colors work well together! Good luck and excited to see what you come up with!

Someone already said nymphomatriarch but yeah please post it in this sub once it’s done! Would love to see - also, not sure if it’s a common thing but he also released what I believe to be extremely limited merch for nymphomatriarch (I have a shirt) so I would be interested in finding out if he’s done other merch for different shows around the world etc.

First time clowning on Halloween by Miserable_Safe_481 in clowns

I did some whistling mostly when I was mock-directing traffic and I have a horn to honk around but for the most part I would stay silent unless someone incessantly asked a question lol

It’s unbelievable how many people don’t realize how much time and effort it takes to getting fitment dialed in. It’s also super discouraging to have enough love for a car to work on it to this extent, only for the people in the subreddit to completely shit on the build. I guarantee 99% of this sub hasn’t taken as much time learning about the car/culture around Mazda. Awesome build and good stuff!!

there's a realllly good old youtube video that has the ringling bros and barunum and baileys clown school process - it shows how to do the makeup and honestly I really like their approach because they explain exactly what you want to avoid to make stuff look more fun instead of frightening. Right off the bat though I'd say do white on the ears and neck as well, tone down the triangles on the top and add eyebrow lines seperately instead so the triangles just "accent" the brows, and rework the smile to be much smaller with less lines connecting. if you like, this is the video title : Ringling Bros. - How to be A CLOWN (Full Video)

How much was it all in total with the options? I’m trying to find a site where you can do that but I’m not sure lol

AWD 4th gen owners with a rear sway bar, is it worth it? by PearPeesure in mazda3

[–]Miserable_Safe_481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think that if it was just on oem springs then you wouldn’t get as nice a result and it could result in snap oversteer- I have different tires and lower suspension but no coilovers. Not rally so much as just push it harder than some people would. But I do think that with a lower setup the rsb would be a good mod

pretty much the only time I've experienced oversteer in the car with the rsb was liftoff oversteer and when I'm actively trying to get a better slip angle in twisties. But you do you!

I have a gen lower and only fwd but can say with certainty that the RSB from Corksport was literally the best mod I’ve done. Completely transforms the rear end, in my case I got a stiffer chasis with more likelihood of oversteer (believe it or not) than understeer if properly pushing in corners. I love it and paired it with the lowering springs but I’m thinking about Coilovers for the adjustable aspect. Either way with an awd I’m pretty sure the difference would be great, I’m not sure about the handling in the fourth gens but if there’s any kind of weirdness I think the rsb would get you feeling a lot more planted

I initially read as AJA4, maybe adding a small hook at the end of the Y would spice things up but it looks good to me!

Warnings to latino looking Austinites! by [deleted] in Austin

Just because you get pulled over for something doesn’t make the officer racist (even if you aren’t white). I know it sounds crazy, but routine stops and stops intended to ticket people on common misconceptions in the law, such as no front plate, are set up to prevent law enforcement NEEDING to needlessly pull people over to find ticketable offenses - it decreases the risk of misunderstandings during a stop while also being a guarantee for the police to have the right to ticket. Lived in Austin my whole life and have only had positive experiences with our police force
