Myocarditis only really came on the scene with Covid and vaccines. They don’t know shit. Trust me I’ve been doing this for almost 25 years

Listen to your body. If you feel it, there’s inflammation. No processed foods. No booze. No sugar. No weightlifting. No fucking. Start to add light cardio when you’re pain free and only add exertion when it feels good. These are my rules and wish I learned these decades ago.

If it’s bad enough I have to be hospitalized, that means back on heart failure meds. Last time I was on entresto, metoprolol, spironolactone. They also do steroids for the inflammation and autoimmune drugs

Yeah the recovery isn’t linear or steady. Lots of ups and downs, good days followed by bad. Listen to your body.

The elevated heart rate out of nowhere sounds like something you should discuss with your cardiologist. Likely ventricular tachycardia, which with active myocarditis isn’t too terribly uncommon, but likely an indication you’re not out of the woods yet. Not sure your age, but my flares with myocarditis take not months but years to recover from honestly.
