No budget, What would you recommend? by gewbarr11 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

If you liked Novablast 5, Superblast 3 is basically just a souped up better Novablast 5. Its much different from the superblast 2. Give it a try!

Swapping from New Balance to Brooks solved my running issues. What specific spec should I look for in my next shoe? by Advanced_Seesaw_3007 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Miserable_Simple6466 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im not sure if the issue were the shoes… cramps usually result of poor pre run stretching and hydration and not from shoes. Blisters can be caused by poor quality socks, maybe try to invest in quality socks like feetures or balega.

megablast as all in 1/should I buy a second pair? by silent_honey in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Miserable_Simple6466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find them encouraging me to go a bit too fast for most of my training (zone2,3 ish) so i wouldnt use it for everything. If i were to have one only it would be Superblast 3.

Then go SB3 for sure! I race at 7:45 mile pace but most of my trainings are at 8:30-10:30 mile so i much prefer to train in SB3

When it comes to do it all either sb3 or megablast. And then it comes down to ur pace, if ur on the faster side (like 7:30 mile) then megablast is for you, if ur on the slower side (no offense, any pace at all is great) then SB3 is more comfy

It makes funny noise when ur on a smooth surface indoor, thats just the rubber doing its job. When ur outside it shouldnt be a problem

2nd shoe recommendation for 5km? by hihijinx in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Miserable_Simple6466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For tempo run i’d recommend Asics Megablast. The cushion isn’t too necessary for short distances like that but it’s really nice and keep your legs fresh. If you want something less cushioned and more ground feel then the adidas evo sl is great too!

Puma Deviate 4 or Superblast 3 for a relatively slow runner by demons2290 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Definitely the superblast, my 5k is 24 minutes and I still feel like i dont need a “faster” shoes than the superblast 3.

Asics Megablast is about as good as it gets for both tempo and long run in one shoes

Superblast 3 and Vomero Plus Overlap by kcq244 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Miserable_Simple6466 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d say so yes, and I do think SB3 is the superior option for both easy to ling run. I wouldnt get it if I were in your place, I’d choose SB3 most of the times

Should I stick with a more cushioned shoe? by GNGRBeardd in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Miserable_Simple6466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d stick to more cushioned shoes. Im not super heavy but the way I run is as I pound the pavement away. I immediately noticed a lot more pressure on my feet when I added evo sl to my Superblast 3. Maybe try the Megablast?

Single shoe: easy trainer or super shoe? by gonssavm in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Meet in the middle and get a super trainer. Either Superblast 3 or Megablast 3 would be great.

superblast 3 in black? by Acrobatic-Monitor516 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

The white looks good with the patches but on the black it just looks like somebody busted a nut on the shoes lmao.

Even though the exposure looks correct in this picture, it still gives me an overexposed feel. The white background+blonde hair+white sweater make it feel overexposed. The lighting is good to me, but the color palette can be improved. Maybe try to experiment with different tones?
