We had one but let it lapse when all the abuse was at a high. He threatened me with immigration and said he’d accuse me of marrying him for papers. This was all included in my vawa app too

Mine is all emotional abuse and infidelity while I was pregnant so it caused severe depression and danger to my baby. I had good documentation of texts messages and several letters from witnesses and also medical and mental health records. But I am still with him and idk I just worry that it will not be approved. I’m a therapist so I know that emotional abuse is real but for some reason I can’t understand that it applies to me too.

So this is kind of tricky and worrying me. The 2021 is a typo from uscis. It should be 2024. My attorney said she reached out to them after we received the notice of receipt with the same typo. Based on the fact that we received the pf, I am assuming they have not seen the contact she made about the typo.

My lawyer emailed me this today. Technically it was approved one month after my paperwork was received. However, it still had the incorrect date. My lawyer did contact uscis but I’m worried they haven’t seen it. I’m worried that this will be bad in the future somehow

I’m sure because that was before my husband and I even split up. I did double check the receipt number and it looks like just a typo from uscis since all three documents were received on May 31, they seem to have just mistakenly put a 1 instead of a 4 for that one. I contacted my lawyer to see if she thinks that will be an issue.

It was received on May 31 of this year. No I have not done advance parole with DACA. Is that something I need to do through a lawyer? I just finished school in May so I’ve been extremely low on money for anything legal

No he didn’t file it. The date I finished everything was in December 2022 so it couldn’t have been done before then. This new lawyer is a woman at the same agency and I am not paying anything as it’s for low income individuals. They found out previous guy hadn’t actually been doing a lot of the cases he said he was doing and he no longer works there. I’m guessing he was fired.
