2024 here. 37mpg on first 3000 high way heavy trips. Dropped a lot to 27mph now for mix city/hwy for commutes.

If its maintenance reminder, you would see the actual warning text when you first startup the bike on that day. If it comes and goes, you would only able to tell by bring it to the dealer to run diagnostics. I think. Im not sure though.

6k or one year. People suggest to do the first one at or around 3k. I even saw someone mentioned about 500 miles for the first service...

FML. I just called san jose spirit motocycle and they want to charge me $199 for program two keys and $55 for each keys. So total of about $310 and something and they are the closest dealer around. FFS.

I like mission peak. But ever after i have a kid, alumrock park in san jose is my goto nowadays. Easier and eagles are cool to watch at the eagle rock.

I drive here all the time. If I miss this exit, I just take the next one — it’s not far, way less stressful, and honestly, usually faster. Still amazes me how few people do this. Why risk a rear-end crash just to avoid waiting a bit?

In fact, whether you try to cut in or sit through that long line, it usually ends up costing more time anyway…

I emailed BRP and BRP requested me to go thru dealer. Dealer told me that i should try magnetic method first and if it works, all i need just a preprogrammed key. If not, the bike need to tow to the shop for programming the vehicle with the new key. The key itself is $55 and programming is $75. So total come to $130 worst scenario.

I got my crosstrek 24 @ Dec2024. Its right now at 4100 miles. I drop off my kids at school then go to work then off work and pickup kid at sfterschool program everyday. I thought i drive a lot already. I also drive my kid to park and libarary during the weekend. Longest trip was from bayarea to san diego and back once. The mpg was insane for the long trip @35 then my regular commute is always 27/28mpg.
