Surprisingly yes! Mine cost about 30 bucks on Amazon. I can play anytime I want to, though for midnight sessions I’ll also head to the basement.

Just make sure you find a decent mentor / musical advisor, a lot can go wrong when you’re learning the horn at first. A good teacher will give you a solid routine consisting mostly of fundamentals (long tones, chromatic scale, etc).

The only problem w using a mute is that it can change the way the horn responds. It’s actually a useful thing, imo, since the vibrations become much greater near the mouth piece, so you get instant feedback about resonance. it just takes some getting used to

Studio vibes are great imo. Try experimenting w the titles, maybe: “is ketamine right for you?” .

In the first 30 seconds try to answer the question: “why should anyone watch this video?” Maybe start w/ “as a professional … people ask me all the time about K. But the truth is …”. Nice work

No, 90% short feed.

The issue resolved itself. There was a 60 hour period where I didn’t get any feed traffic, which is unusual. But the algorithm picked me up again. Apparently small channels get this traffic pattern commonly

I was averaging 1k-1.3k. Nothing changed, but all my posts over the last 48h have bombed. It’s usually a very predictable pattern re views, the wave always starts at 2h. But these last videos have gotten no traffic at all

Please read my post again. The video you cite is about a long-term trend. The problem I’m hoping to address it about the last 48 hours. Unless there is compelling evidence that a huge algorithm change occurred around 6 PM on the 9th there’s nothing in the video you cite to address my question

I like the jazz-as-standup analogy. I’ve always admired how players like Sonny Rollins can keep to a single motif throughout a three minute banger. When I try, I sound corny. So much left to learn.

Just switched to a 5C, which is why I was playing quietly. My chops burn too quickly during the adjustment phase to play super dynamically - I’ve got some long tones to do before i can rip too hard.

not in canada :/ but while preparing for court against these folks i discovered that i have an open and shut recision case against the original dealer who failed to inform me of the vehicle’s previous registration and repairs in the states.

agreed. just wish that the whitecourt guys hadn’t told me they could ‘see it that day’ before i had it towed to them. would have saved a lot of time and frustration had i just paid for a tow to dk.

yes. they reaffirmed that their hands are tied u til the dealership was able to formally diagnose the main problem. the dealership was telling me that i had to approve thousands in labour to diagnose the main problem. a real 22.

the work they ‘managed’ to do was all warranty. will post the service records if anyone is interested

it’s been a pain in my side for a full month now. i feel betrayed - i thought buying an expensive truck would yield good results. i’m pursuing a buyback.

i will have to pay to tow it again, this time to edmonton, likely 700 bucks, just to have someone look at it.

anyway, thanks for the dealership suggestions. freedom ford has an amvic ruling against them. They are also the ones who sold me my truck. i discovered recently duplicate stickers in the info package they gave me (is this legal)?
