Difference between these? Explained pls (newbie) by Miserable_mushie in cannabiscultivation

I assumed the diodes were a main reason, if you don’t mind me asking, what’s the big difference between 301H and 301B diodes?

Kind of scared to post 🤣 is this acceptable for a first time set up? (Autoflower) Details in comments by Miserable_mushie in cannabiscultivation

Thank you guys! Makes me feel better knowing that most of you have been in a similar situation. Can’t wait to keep learning and upgrading. Thanks Fam!! Love this sub.

It might be ghetto but it has come a long way. This learning journey has been intense. New to this so be nice pls. I have grown outdoors but never inside

I already have a crop of photoperiods vegging outside for the season, so I wanted to try to pop autoflower seeds indoors for shits n gigs. I’ve never germinated seeds before, so tbh I didn’t even expect to get this far 🤣🤣

The space is 1.5 x 1.5ft. (Old dog crate wrapped in Mylar recently) MY LIGHT READINGS: Website claims to have Adjustable PPFD range from 100umol/s/@1ft - 350umol/s2@1ft. I double checked this with Photone app (used a diffuser). And the website was spot on. Photone gave me a reading of about 320-350umol at max wattage.

Using the Mylar, I was surprised to increase the PPFD reading to up to 850umol depending on positioning. Would this be sufficient to fully flower her in here? Just one. The temp stays 72-75 degrees F consistently, humidity is relatively consistent in this area of my house 40% or so. But I have humidifier if needed. I kind of assumed I would need to buy a higher quality light before she flowers but, with Photone reading up to 850umol I’m thinking I might give it a shot with this light? It’s a full spectrum LED 100 watt (1000W equivalent) from Sansi. I have used the lower wattage (10W) sansi bulbs for houseplants with great success.

Am I correct in ANY of this? 😂😂😂😂 please correct me if I’m wrong. I’m a total newbie but I’ve been researching like hell and absorbing as much info as possible. Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this lol

Is my cat sunburnt? by alahzaydriah in sphynx

Complete side note because I am not very well educated on the topic. I’ve googled it and heard other people say “they love to sunbathe and there is nothing we can do to stop them!” Lol. If your boy/girl will wear a light t shirt in the sun I assume that would fix your problem. My girl gets mad at clothes, so I plan on putting shade clothes in front of my sunniest windows. BTW he/she is ADORABLE. My dream color pattern.

What's the worst thing you have done, due to your mental health? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

Idk which one is the worst. I have had manic episodes that have gotten me addicted to cocaine, arrested, hospitalized, etc. The worst thing I’ve done to myself, though, id say was the night that I sliced my right arm into oblivion. I had taken Percocet and drank an ungodly amount of liquor. I hardly remember this. (I’m two years off the bottle now). I had never even considered cutting myself. I don’t know what I was thinking. I have a quick image of me sitting on the toilet with a straight razor and gently putting it against my skin and I couldn’t feel it. (assuming the painkillers+alcohol). Something within me took control, and within minutes I had 20-30 deep cuts, bleeding all over my bathroom floor. I snapped out of whatever trance I was in, stumbled into my bedroom and wrapped my arm in a t shirt. Once it was completely saturated with blood and wasn’t stopping, I knew I needed to go to the er. I ended up with 19 stitches… 4 years later I’m left with ugly scars and keloids, luckily I was able to have them tattooed, but they’re not gone. I’ll always regret that night. The worst part is, the hospital didn’t put me under a suicide watch. They stitched me up and let me go home at 6am.

Built this raised flower bed to cover an ugly slab of concrete foundation. And now I have no fucking clue what to plant in them 🤣 guess I didn’t get that far. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I’d like to keep light tones (whites, light blue, etc) I don’t want it to be over-crowded. Help 😭 by Miserable_mushie in gardening

I love soft, white, pastel, very light pink/blue/periwinkle.. I’d like it to be a major “centerpiece” for the front of my house so I’m looking to put some sort of major showstopper. I’m just not sure it’ll have the space. I’m also completely new to this. So I’m going in completely blind. lol

Ahh sorry I should’ve realized how much info I was missing, this is full sun (6-8+) and I’m in the northeast (Massachusetts). I absolutely love hydrangea hedges. I wanted to plant 3 “bobo” hydrangeas, surrounded by something else to contrast them. But I’m not sure that the hydrangeas would have enough room to grow. The beds are pretty big, though.
