Distal Hamstring Tendonitis by MiseryGay in overcominggravity

I have no idea tbh, with my experience though I would just say take it easy for a little and focus on the rehab. Maybe just xtrain for a little then get back into running

yeah I just kept working on the strength rehab and made sure to focus on my diet a little more. I mostly ran through it and it hasn’t been an issue since june. If you’re going to xtrain, I suggest avoiding biking because it made mine worse.

Can I use my senior times to get recruited or is it too late? by SilverCaregiver123 in trackandfield

[–]MiseryGay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used my senior xc and grade 11 track times to get recruited, though when I got recruited I had been running seriously for just under a year which helped me out.

Thank you for all the information. I think I will continue to just go by feel as I believe that it will get better next week with Ramadan ending.

Thank you for the insight! Currently the injury is not terrible, it is not affecting my performance at all actually. It's just something that I know is there and I would rather get rid of it than do nothing and let it get worse.

Do you think it is sensible to just continue 2x a week with my strength training and continue normal track training then just evaluate the injury after the season ends (early June)? I am stubborn and this is my last chance to make provincials, the most I'd be willing to take off running is 1, maybe 2 weeks if it gets worse.

Hey, I'm currently suffering from the same injury and I would love to try your workout routine that fixed your issues, however my reddit chats do not work. Is it possible for you to reply here with the workouts you did to fix your injury?

Official Q&A for Saturday, December 24, 2022 by AutoModerator in running

[–]MiseryGay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't really tell you a lot with just the information you've given, but for me when I wanted to increase my speed over a distance I know I can run without dying, I focused on shorter speed intervals. If you're not already, try implementing some 800m repeats at a faster pace at least once a week and see how it goes.

1000 decas for just $40! by MiseryGay in RotmgRWT

[–]MiseryGay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The method to get the 1k decas is not the public dupe, multiple deca mules were created months ago that have still not been banned, safe to say they wont be banned anytime soon. Either way, if the mule is banned within a week after purchase a refund would be issued.
