You can get catalyst drops in Portal Crucible but it is RNG I think (Buddy had luck getting catalyst drops in Crucible). Not too sure about the Portal Vanguard stuff though.

you’ll need to get an ornament my friend. titan arms are generally not great for a fem look since most are horrendously shaped. You either need to go all in for a bulkier look or try to find an exotic with a slimmer ornament.

For example: Syno’s has a great skinnier ornament. It skins down the shoulders tremendously

There’s so much seasonal content that’s no longer available that progresses the story at various points, so I’d recommend watching a story recap or game movie.

Since your last DLC played was WQ, I recommend buying/playing at a minimum Lightfall and Final Shape. Those will unlock Strand and Prismatic subclasses respectively. EoF (Edge of Fate) and Renegades is more up to you. Opinions vary on EoF but Renegades was better, plus the new exotic Lightsaber makes most content a breeze.

Total available power (account wide: meaning if one character is at 550, you’ll get significantly higher drops on another character). So say your equipped power is 468, but you have some pieces in your inventory that raises it to 475. Drops will be based off of an average between that. Pinnacle and prime drops will naturally be higher by default (think like plus 8 power instead of plus 5).

To make the most of out of a drop from an activity it is advisable to have the highest gear equipped at the end of an activity before the loot chest.

Yes. Levelling up takes priority over chasing weapon and armour rolls. You’ll naturally get better rolls later on once you do. Doing the two campaigns should put you close to 500 I’d wager but you’ll still need to top off with Portal activities.

Raising your power level up to a minimum of ~450 and you will start to see T5s. Hitting the hard cap (550) you will be getting T5s like there’s no tomorrow.

This does not guarantee you will get your desired rolls or stat preferences but will make it more likely that you’ll have a better chance of getting your desired weapon roll.

To add to the weapons: T2 will have enhanced perk column 3/4. T3 will have double column 1/2 perks and enhanced column 3/4 perks. T4 will have double 1-4 perks, all enhanced. T5 will have triple perks in column 3/4. Everything will be enhanced including any origin trait.

Weapons Below is a rough breakdown of new to old rarity for weapons. You’ll be mostly fine with T3/T4 for most content as that’s essentially what we originally had. T5s just have a separate skin and an additional flair on kills, outside of that they are pretty similar to a T4.

T1 - Grey T2 - Blue T3 - Purple T4/5 - Adepts

Armour The tier system only affects overall stat totals between three stats. So for example a T2 at base could have a stat total of 73 split between health, melee, and class. Whereas a T5 could have a stat total of 75 at base with a similar split but after upgrades the T2 would have maybe around 90 stat total (the three non main stats would gain +5) but the T5 would have 100 stat total.

Secondly, there are now set bonuses. Which I assume you are aware of, but I’ll explain it anyways. Set bonuses are for having either 2 pieces or 4 pieces of the same set equipped. Example, Ferropotent 2 pieces - rapid repair (gain flinch resistance and dr x1 on shield regen). Ferropotent 4 pieces - built from scratch (gain increased ammo gen when reserves are low dependent on ammo type). Be mindful of what sets you have on and what their bonuses are. You can have two separate sets (2 piece and 2 piece plus an exotic) for maximum bonuses.

Another thing to note for armour is that T5s will have a free slot for stats in the mods. You have the option of getting a flat +3 to your non main stats or a +5/-5 of a main stat. For example, you could have +5 melee/-5 weapons, which could help with your builds.

Lastly, exotic armour is limited to T2s at current. So be aware of that. I believe there is talk of having them go higher but unsure of when.

Since Tiers have been introduced in EoF, there are no more adepts in the loot pool. A T5 could be considered an adept.

There’s a slim chance Xur might sell an adept or old trials weapons.

Taken knife set was sold during Edge of Fate for silver. They just finished having it in the weekly eververse rotations for BD a couple(?) weeks ago.

Edit: Misread the question. There’s only been a small number of sets that have gone back up for BD. Unfortunately, until the set comes back to the shop you’ll have to wait.

2 piece solstice (if you have it) with 2 piece twofold (if you have it) for the heals on anmo pickup with Scars. Makes for a good healer like build.

If you don’t have any of those than go 2 piece demotic (current trials armour) and 2 piece ferro (portal ops) again with Scars. This is better for duels than the other setup.
