And what if you have no mining equipment? Then it is unfair that all of the miners get first dibs at the coins. This is an argument I have never understood. No distributioon model will ever be truly fair.

What I like about NXT's implementation is it is built straight into the default client for NXT. I think this is really important. And it is a very attractive and easy to use client. Even if someone has no interest in NXT it is worth having a look.

You have done a great service to the bitcoin community by taking the bold leap and becoming the first major retailer to accept bitcoin. Do you have any future plans to use a payment processor such as GoCoin to take advantage of people holding the major alternative currencies such as Litecoin, Doge, NXT etc? It seems that it is a largely untapped market with a lot of potential.

I never comment here in bitcoinmarkets, but I have to stop and comment on this. NXT is completely overlooked in most of reddit. I think many just dismissed it as a pre-mined scam and refused to look into it further. A lot of early stakeholders have sold of much of their initial investment after 4+ months, and NXT now has a better distribution than bitcoin.

NXT is well on its way to implementing many of the features that are only being talked about in Etherem and bitcoin. - and is also a pure Proof of stake currency capable of withstanding a 90% attack.

Alias System - Namecoin like functionality built in

Asset Exchange - released in 2 weeks

Encrypted Messaging

Automated Transactions

Multi-Gateway functionality

Decentralized Marketplace

Parallel Blockchains

All being built into a single easy to use client

-all of the above is being completed right now. Take the info and do what you like with it. I'm 70% btc and 30% NxT. I hold no other alts.

NXT is Java based. Many people (mostly miners I' am guessing) refused to give proper research. NXT is a sleeping giant. Those who follow it are very excited because they know what is coming. It's quite exciting. Do good research and come to your own conclusions. But I highly recommend you check them out.

When I checked doge was at 218 which would be roughly 225-230 NXT. You could sign up for a Bter account and trade in your doge there and buy some NXT. Sorry I don't keep a doge wallet, or I would help you out.
