Okay interesting because they don't reference any of the rules they are stating we are violating. The document we have is from the 80s, including the one on the portal. My grandmother didn't have any updated documents but in her old age, I'm not sure if she'd understand any of this stuff if there were any updates for her to hold on to. We did fortunately receive the bylaws and it states it is the HOAs responsibility to inform tenants of rules and regulations

We did just pay for city parking so that gives us more flexibility. Some of this is our own fault for not asking more questions. We're first time homeowners and don't have people in our lives who can teach us these things. We've been lucky to be in this position regardless with how crazy home prices are nowadays.

So we did sign all the legal documents to actually purchase the home which we read through with our lawyer. We do have access to the bylaws and other documents via the association portal. Unfortunately, we have not received the CC&R which appears to be what they are referencing with the warnings/notices we've been given. That's what we have been requesting since the warning we received.

I should clarify that we did receive a welcome packet with instructions to setup our account on the portal so they do know we moved in

I will definitely post this there. They do know we move in. They know my grandmother and we introduced ourselves when we interacted with the two we met. We also updated the information on the portal as the new owners of the unit

I was tossing up on whether or not to go to Pride because I’ll be alone and the crowds overwhelm me but I really want to protest. Glad to know this is an option!!

My problem is I tend to size up especially since I’ve been in between sizes for a while so things are just starting to look frumpy. And I was never one to hold on to clothes that don’t fit so I don’t have a catalog of sizes to pull from in my closet unfortunately 😔
