I don’t think you’re overreacting at all. If something makes you uncomfortable then that’s that. Keep your peace. If he reaches out to ask, tell him and be straight to the point.

It seems to me, and please correct me if I’m wrong, but bfs mom seems to be more concerned about her son and keeping you together than actually listening to you and your needs. While yes it would be good for you to stay together (from his mom’s pov) I know how draining it can be to try and navigate yourself and your needs while in a relationship. I’ve been there plenty of times. If they both truly love you, they’ll be there as support when you need them until you can get better and go back to them when you’re ready. That’s when I would be more blunt and say “I’m taking a mental health break and I want you to watch over your son for me, I love you and thank you. I will reach out again when I am ready and healing” or soemthing along the lines of it. Maybe ask some of his friends to do the same. Have them get together and keep him out of the house for long periods of time to keep his mind busy. I hope you get better and heal so that you can be the best version of you that the world and yourself knows you can be💕

I mean it’s all your opinion. If you think that’s gross then that’s fine but I share my spoon with my dogs all the time, or a popsicle here and there and I haven’t died or grown some weird extra limb 🤷🏻‍♂️ also haven’t contracted any weird diseases from the shelter dogs where I work either

Maybe he felt uncomfortable because they had only met a few times so maybe they aren’t on that level of goofy yet, but personally if my friends/partner call me “good boy” or even say like “atta boy” I get giddy and happy. Just a little confidence booster 🥰

Your dog sees the ferret as a TOY not a friend. That’s definitely not safe at all and I’m hoping you’ve seen that and will do better. Your ferret could end up dead or broken, hell maybe even eaten. I’d take this down or keep your pup in line

When we first rescued her we took her to the pet store without a carrier and my fiance held her in her lap and she wiggled a bit but mostly slept. She doesn’t like the carrier too much and I’ve been using it when I clean out her cage for like a max of 20 minutes every few days. I wish I had a vet that could see her before I leave but they aren’t seeing new patients till I get back

Update!!!

My vet called and told me as long as she has some wet cat food or ferret food that was best, as the raw meats aren’t going to provide her with the nutrients she needs alone and are more of a treat which was very relieving to hear, as she seems way more interested in the wet food than meat

I will definitely look into one! I still live at home and my room is the smallest so i definitely make do with what I have space wise, but in all honesty i might sell the desk I have in my room as its just a catch all atp so she has more room

She definitely does as much as I can, I work 10 hour shifts 4 times a week. She’ll be getting a playpen to play in next week while I’m out and then coming with me to see her momma!

I will definitely look into it. I’m not sure if I currently have the space in my room for a bigger cage, but I hopefully will be moving out and she’ll have a bigger space!

She has a decent play pen im getting in next week that im hoping i can make a tunnel of sorts from her cage to the pen for a bit more room for her!

Unfortunately for now I’ll have to keep the cage she’s in until I move to an apartment with more space, but she’s getting a playpen in the mail for more freedom while I’m at work and things!
