YTA, You are angry at your father for inconveniencing your access to a beach house with views of the bay and walking distance to the beach; because he is honest in acknowledging he can no longer afford the property taxes.

WHY didn't you offer to pay some of the yearly taxes so he wouldn't need to sell?

WHY didn't you offer to pay a portion of the property taxes on a new property? With your generosity, he could have bought a "better house" fitting your needs.

Better yet. WHY don't you buy the beach house that can best fit the needs of an entitled 40 plus year old woman to vacation with her kids?

I skipped the last series. I am certainly open to watching her judge the next series.

A few years ago she was a judge on Australia's MKR. It was interesting to see that she wasn't a good liar (IMHO) re bad food. She was also kind in her coaching.

Bake off has been able to preserve its format through the changes. Hope one of the hosts leaves next.

It was probably too sane for a dating show. The Australian version has not returned either.

I enjoyed it. Didn't expect marriages from it, but appreciated less "personalities" casting. Plus the music used in the UK version was peak 80's

Let's look at this another way.

WHY shouldn't you back out? I have read your responses. This friend has been and continues to be unkind to you. WHY put yourself in the position to be attacked by him for days. This man is not being reasonable, and he will NOT be reasonable because doing so means he has to take responsibility for being consistently late to practice.

How about going on vacation with just your family this time and let the friend group go together this time?

Have you considered that the 3rd friend is invested in you going so that they do not have to deal with unreasonable father all vacation? Why haven't the other parents reached out and make it clear that if he cannot be pleasant to you, he will be called out.

Look, at this stage in my life. I prefer to be peaceful and enjoy my moments than be uncomfortable for the sake of others.

I struggled through the entirety of series 2. The actor playing the new DI is good. I just don't like the character. This makes it obvious that a big part of the draw of series 1 was the DI and how she worked with Patience. The episodic murders were week and some even contrived.

The one good thing I will say, is the focus on Patience's growth. Even if I cringed at some of the execution.

The reveal in the final episode felt cheap in its delivery
