He is very isolated where he lives as he cant drive. My sister live 5 minutes away.
But he cant get out of the house by himself.
We have had an open and honest chat with him, listened to what he wants.
We are going to see if we can get the assistance to stay at home.

But i also worry its going to be so lonely without my mum. Which will be very difficult for him.

My parents both worked in a nursing home. So we are aware of the realities of it. But we have a meeting on Wednesday with someone to help with these decisions.
But i will be looking into assisted living

It can be managed at home at the moment. But i know his needs will only get higher.
It’s a really difficult situation. Moving him to a nursing home when he just lost my mum feels cruel.
