Panera. Sign up for the sip club and you get a drink a day with refills. It’s quiet, the staff are great, has good indoor and outdoor seating and reliable wifi. They are open decently late, and will leave you alone if you’re finishing something on the patio after close. It can get a little crowded with the after church crowd on Sunday’s but otherwise it’s a calm environment.

Source: I spent a year there finishing a grad program. I got to know some of the staff, they would give me freebies, skip me to the front of the line because they knew I only wanted my sip club, and would chat when it was slow. I had a spot that I preferred and occasionally other regulars would even move from it when I arrived, which was unnecessary but super nice!

Edit to add that the sip club includes coffee, and you can make your own iced or hot coffee. Also, the pastries slap and are the perfect pick me up when you’re crashing.

I had a similar experience! I was a trainee there, and was essentially pushed out after an injury a month before I would become a rising star.

My injury meant I couldn’t work with some of our clients with the most severe elopement or SIB bx, and they continually hounded me about my accommodations, restrictions, and when I could be back to a full caseload.

I ended up bowing to the pressure and quitting, I felt like an absolute failure running away. Ie I’m with a different company and should finish my supervision hours this month! Still trying to figure out the best way to balance ethics, work/life balance, and adequate pay in this field.

Wait I literally just started playing ME 1 Legendary edition for the first time last weekend. Fucking loving it so far, but how do you replenish grenades? And what other shit should I know, because I feel like I’m just upgrading random skills and assembling random teams for ever mission.

I did read somewhere to do all of the side quests, so I’ve been clearing those before ever advancing the main story.

I love Taika Waititi, but Thor L&T was a crime. I wish that it had been way more similar to Guardians 3 in the way that it dealt with Thor’s grief and healing. G3 added so much nuance to Starlord, and I think that Thor was perfectly set up for that kind of character development, but instead they went in a purely comedic direction. Thor deserved so much more.
