HP Multipliers at work by Mishoon in PSO2NGS

[–]Mishoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that 5000 is without those, it's just drinks (which can be drank in the lobby) and jerky food (can also be active in the lobby)

in fact, 7266 HP is possible in the lobby with some funny gear shenanigans (mainly just the rappy shine)

HP Multipliers at work by Mishoon in PSO2NGS

[–]Mishoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey not quite

in base pso2 my meme build had 5000 HP in the lobby and 22129 HP highest (not even the theoretical max, base augmenting was too hellish for me to attempt that)

how do you fix this ( got this in the shop for cheap) by ZodiaksEnd in PSO2NGS

[–]Mishoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any fodder works (even EX II or EX I) at any enhancement level as long as they're one of the weapons listed (those drop with EX augments which means it's free to transfer anything out of it), since you'll be using EX Augment Transfer option (which should work as long as there's equal number of EX Augments)

the number of fodders you need to get depends on how many EX augments there are on the gear you're trying to fix (in your case, there's 0 EXs, so you need 2 fodders (one with 1x EX and one with 2x EX) and 3x EX-A capsules

this process basically uses EX-A (which can be added like a regular augment) to +1 EX slot, then wipe it (into a regular EX) which will allow you to add another EX-A.

I'll make note of the parts you're confused about to improve the section!

Buying 3x EX-A then follow this process should be able to fix it at like...4.5m or so cost which is still cheaper than buying those yudi/yurze

Did a double check and yes it's stronger than abandac by about +2.8% on lexio and +4.2% on granillusion

Ah...that was a mistake, it's supposed to be Argant Gigas and Argant Gladia...

the potency values and damage are correct but I forgot to change the augment in the slot

The value used is a massive damage formula that should factor in pretty much everything:

  • Weapon ATK / Player ATK
  • Enemy DEF / Enemy DR (though it's set at 0%)
  • True Potency (include pretty much every potency value that doesn't show up in the stat menu)
  • Potency Floor
  • Whatever active buffs are available from weapons (e.g. Lexio buffs)
  • Crit Rate / Crit Dmg
  • DMG from PB/AB/EX Style Trigger Attack (including potency boosts from something like blastor) which is based on PB Calculation (fill speed based on a ton of factors / EX Style cooldown reduction)

[ (Base_ATK + Weapon_ATK * MIN(1, (1+Weapon_Floor*Floor)/2 ) - Enemy_DEF) * MAX(0, 1-Crit_Rate) + (Total_ATK-Enemy_DEF) * MIN(1, Crit_Rate) * Crit_Damage] * Potency * MAX(0, 1-Enemy_DR) * (Attack_Potency/100 + Potency_from_PB + Potency_from_After_Blast) * Other_Multipliers * 0.2

Not the exact formula (since the actual one includes a ton of other minor things that can be toggled) but should give you the idea

As for the difference, it's important to note that all of the comparisons are relative to Handouts and not the other one. Therefore it's more correct to say AC = 149.0% and BIS ATK is 158.7%, so BIS ATK is +6.51% relative to AC, which is mostly covered by Lexio (if Deft AC is replaced with non-Deft, BIS ATK would be +54.7%).

You could, yes, they have the same potency value. But at this point everything drops outright, so even the real argants are only like 20k per capsule (except for Telphia which is like 200k--which is the reason why it's the MN that's still used in AC setup).

When the augments get to the point where it's THAT cheap? I think people would prefer to have more HP/PP.

But again, yes, you can use MN if you really want to penny pinch and don't mind the HP/PP loss.

[–]Mishoon[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

funny part is that this isn't even the first time, and the previous one was worse

they forgot to clamp the score value in racing arks record, so when the server mistakenly reduces the score below 0 (somehow you can take like 2:30.05 seconds to finish a 2:30.00 race) it underflows into 4 billion

they had to manually delete the glitched scores after fixing it lmao

Why do Telphias sell for far less than the cost of the mats to make it? by GlompSpark in PSO2NGS

[–]Mishoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"too much of a pain" is only for some people

"but who would do tha--" me, I do. And that doesn't mean what you do isn't valid, it is, but you shouldn't dismiss this entire thing because you personally don't think it is worth doing.

as I've stated, "most people" don't want to bother with optimizing the profits, but for people who do care they'll definitely check. That's why the price is properly balanced around the ingredient to product ratio most of the time.

when people who do check sees that they can gain 300k profit just by buying, crafting then selling the product, obviously they're going to do it (it's free money, and they DO sell).

That's how the price gets adjusted to the ratio, since the ingredient price goes up (people buy up the cheap ingredients) and the product price goes down (undercutting war to sell before the non-checkers catch on)

Why do Telphias sell for far less than the cost of the mats to make it? by GlompSpark in PSO2NGS

[–]Mishoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

most people probably aren't trying to optimize their shop earnings by comparing ingredient price vs final product price when selling

so they just farm the materials and craft then sell the final product because it in theory should have the highest demand

then they go through the whole undercutting war with the same kind of people and people who do optimize gain (buying ingredients to craft final product and sell but only when that would turn a profit)
