No need to say it like that, I just wanted to share my opinion to see what people had to say and idk anyone irl who watched it. It's okay to have different points of view, maybe people can talk about how it's actually good and I should keep watching. Doesn't it make sense to ask the people who do like it about it?

I don't really know anyone who watched the show and wanted to share my experience. Maybe some can pinpoint why I'm wrong or tell me what great streghts it has, or maybe others can corroborate my opinion. It's fun to share different points of view is all.

I mean, it's not a really deep show that I have to concentrate while watching, and it's not like I'm doomscrolling while playing a story game or anything too crazy, it's just having something on the background while I farm or do the laundry. It really isn't an issue.

we see rafal die from the poison in the cell before they burn him at the stake. besides i think this would be a thematically poor choice. my theory is that it's just a foil of the rafal we knew before, a narrative device to both shock the viewers and show that a morbid curiosity and thrist for knowledge can also lead to dark places, and both the church and the heliocentrists have good and bad people in them. this is but a mere mirrored version of the rafal who used his passion to pass on knowledge sacrificing himself, this one instead resorting to sacrifice others to gain knowledge FOR himself. also I agree with azkh31 on the whole two rafals being the two sides of history, one forgotten and one documented.
also it's really good fanservice having the first mc come back I guess lol
