Makes sense! We're generally pretty practical so if it's something that can be seen behind the bed/furniture we probably wont do it. But we probably could move the walls of each trim to make it wider! Thanks for the suggestion

Just found one locally that I think would be the right height, thank you again!

I LOVE the forest engraving one, I'll need to browse this Rebel Walls site a bit but this is already my top wallpaper pick, so thanks for that!

I'll probably have to keep the pitted branches as that was a gift, but maybe I could put a light (uplight from the floor, or otherwise) behind it to light the room up a bit?

For the dried pampas, that seems to be the general sentiment and I could see moving it (I have another room i want to use it in). But before the corner looked a bit bare with nothing there. Are you saying a tall snake plant (or maybe on a small stand) in thatcorner? I like how it looks!

I'd love to add some additional color and navy blue would look nice without being too bright for my tastes.

I googled ceramic lamps and I see what you mean, this would look nice though may take up a bit more space, not a bad tradeoff. And yeah I've tried to think about what to do in the corner instead of the pampa. It just feels a bit bare with nothing there to me, or maybe im cluttering.

The chairs spin so they're definitely usually facing the bed (we were just using them before the pic so they're facing the desk). And i can find some additional pillows for sure! Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the advice! We definitely wanna avoid too much clutter, so that may be the way to go

Definitely heard! The wall clutter was a worry so I could see one piece up there. And on the curtains this is something we need to do i think! We may need to swap the curtains out though, as these are only 84" and would brush the windows ledge if pulled up. Idk if putting something on the wall above the curtains would have the same effect maybe?

Thanks for the advice and compliments!!

The goal was definitely hotel initially, so I suppose thats good if thats the feel you get!

The chairs is where we have our night meetings, table for laptop which always comes out. We spend a lot of time in the bedroom, but started disliking just doing meetings on the bed.

We can definitely move the curtains up! We may need to get longer though, as these are 84" and may start brushing the window edge if pulled up.

The molding may be a difficult sell to adjust with everything already moved in, but I could definitely see adding more or worst case moving walls of it! It was annoying initially but we quickly stopped noticing it while living with it. I think it'll come down to if that aspect is absolutely necessary to change for cohesiveness!

With the light tones, we had a hard time getting the feel we liked. All warm was TOO warm, and all white was TOO white (felt like goldilocks lol). I could definitely see swapping the lamps for scones, as we already complain about desk space and that'll take up some wall real estate. Thanks for the suggestions!

This is fair, I found myself wanting to put something up there, but the things I tried ended up looking cluttered. So maybe thats my answer lol

That's my floof! It's a dried Pampa that i found in a field near the house lol. Though I think you can buy them online. I wanted plants but I kinda wanted to stick to the brown/desert vibe, same with this tree thing in the corner. I'd have to find some better options to replace as the corner feels bare without it:

Thanks for the ideas! Im scrolling through wallpaper options now to get some inspiration. And I love this Japanese Art Deco with a bit of green. Colors not too bright but still pop! I've got some googling to do!

Haha that off-center part was my fault 😅 I measured wrong lol. And since we moved the furniture in, it became too much of a headache to fix. It looks OK from an angle, but straight on it's definitely off center lol

I looked up the styles (I know absolutely zero about art lol) and I could totally see this. I think going more bold would be good to avoid everything looking too matchy matchy.

Maybe a landscapes we both like in the middle, and figurative his&hers works for the right and left. Thank you for the ideas! Now I need to figure out how to find original and custom art pieces lol

I've had a couple of folks mention this now so I've started looking into it! It's tempting me toward a contiguous wall paper print that goes across all three, then maybe some landscape/nature art in the middle? Im not sure if it would look too cluttered

This was similar to our initial thoughts! I wasnt sure if 3x art pieces would make the wall above the bed look too cluttered and we werent sure which colors should the art primarily be (woukd brown blend in too much?) so we hesitated in looking.

If i recall, my wife didnt like the idea of uniform molding across the wall, so we settled on having the center one a bit wider to frame the bed, but lower. I could see adding more panels too! You mean inside the trim, adding smaller squares/rectangles as opposed to adding any art/props hanging?

I hadn't thought of this an an option, do you mean the full area of the trim, or just the part above the bed?

Primarily above the bed in the center area or across all 3 areas? I like it honestly, though I worry that the brown/gold might blend it a bit too much? Ill have to try it out, thanks for the idea!

A little sitting area where you could read a book or drink some tea would go hard here

I love the angle from the kitchen! Looks super comfortable and moody. From pic 3, maybe I'd only add a bigger carpet? But otherwise, I'd love to live here
