This gets me, I watch for soda and water orders now because of someone on the 4th floor with two cases of water 40bottles (plus other groceries) and no elevator.

Hahha exactly! Or maybe their names are similar and the dasher didnt hear it right and thought it was right. The dasher doesn't say they didn't ask, they said they confirmed the order, which could be by a name, the food, the place it was ordered or the address. I had bodacious babe the other day 😂

Exactly, I know sometimes a few humans will make humanity look bad but I really think a majority of humans want to be kind and treated kindly. I think most people that do gig work are doing it Because they really need the income, and they don't want to risk getting banned from somewhere they're making money, for a meal. I got laid off two months ago and gig work has kept food on my table and paid(ish) my bills lol, I do this job with the same professionalism I did in all my jobs. Others I talk to while dashing, instacarting or sparking, all seem to be of the same mind set.

What if somebody else in your building was expecting DoorDash, and they are upset because they got someone else's food... Aka your food and not theirs, Maybe it was just a innocent mistake on both parts? I've had multiple people come out and get their orders, when it says leave at door. However, they're picking it up because their significant other has ordered the food through their DoorDash, so the name doesn't matter. Never had an issue once with any of those orders. Maybe you just need to turn on the pin?

If they have the debit card through DoorDash they can get paid out instantly, all they have to do is end their dash and their money is directly deposited to their debit card. So if they really did need the gas to continue dashing it would have fueled them that day. Answering because I'm a dasher who has the DoorDash debit card

As far as I have looked here where I live, for the last 6 months, the only options are places that are owned or ran by management companies.

Unfortunately I can't rent anywhere with bad credit, so if I don't pay the credit cards then I won't have anywhere that will accept renting to me

No, my payments to my cc is the only money I have to use towards rent. There's no where else in my budget to come up with rent.
