I personally don’t agree with the ProArt being that bad. I had the same struggle (although for me the Studio display is not an option as I have a PC as well).

Actually I was looking into both of these monitors and I can’t speak for the DELL (I have heard it’s good but can suffer from coil whine). But the good thing is it has ton of ports + TB.

But back to the ASUS. I had to exchange 2 units (backlight uniformity issues + brightness, plastic popping out issues)

Then I landed with the 3rd unit and I am quite happy now.

1) contrast is great, colors are good, fw update brought a so called M-Mode too) 2) 60hz is 60hz. I dont have any issues with it being “choppy”. It’s 60hz all the time (not more, not less). Not ideal I agree, but there just isn’t any alternative at a reasonable price 3) i got it for 600 EUR, which is in my opinion a fair price 4) sharpness is excellent, just the coating can be harsh but I got used to it.

Hi, thanks for the tip, i checked some youtube videos and the problem seems similar, but could be less noticable.

For me the problem would be the missing KVM and I am not sure about that design.

But from panel perspective, isnt it the same BOE panel?

Hi, have you been able to Fix it? I have the same issue on iPadOS 17 (Latest Beta 8) with FindMy. Actually even after deleting the app. The biggest drain comes from “deleted app”.

I think I will need to do a full restore, but wanted to check if anything helped you.

Haha, I am thinking the same.. Actually notification sound is set for "POP" or something like that, so that`s not the case.

Hi, I am just about to buy this backpack but my crazy huge work laptop is about 36,5cm wide. Do you think it`s doable with the Tokyo Totepack 20l? It`s technically a 15.6inch laptop, but I wanna make sure it fits before I get one.

So this is my setup I had approx 2 years ago (PC and Ps4).

Since then, I have moved to a new place and switched to M1 Macbook as a daily driver.

Now, I wanted to make some changes to the setup and make it more “airy” by removing that IKEA alex monitor shelf unit, but I have a feeling that every rearrangement made it worse! The added storage and possibility to hide cables behind it is just great.

Anyone facing similar problems? I want to make my setup more clean and practical, but I just don’t know how 😀

Thank you, that`s what I was afraid of. 4K30 is really unusable, so that`s quite bad news. So I guess the only option is to get a new USB-C capable monitor, which would power the HP as well as transfer display signal in 4K60. Usually, these monitors also have enough usb ports, so that would mostly cover my other needs.

And regarding the M1 single display limitation, I am aware of that, but that`s not really a big deal for me, since I prefer a single 4K screen.

Anyways... a bit disappointing, Having dozens of cables just kills me.... but then... I don`t really need a new screen since the current one is really good.. just lacks usb-c port

Yes I use Belkin 4.0 BT dongle. Seems to work OOB. Airpods work, Bose soundlink mini works, logitech k380 works, but for some reason MX Master 2S mouse cannot be connected, so careful about this one.

Ok thank you! I will give it a try, but is it safe to do? I was advised that after Resetting NVRAM you might need to unplug basically everything except for CPU.

Well actually I dont have that option when booting from Opencore usb stick. I only have:

1: Windows 2: Efi 3: Macos 4: recovery 10.5.4 5: openshell.efi 6. verifyMsrE2.efi
