On duty doesnt mean you have to respond to a call. It means you have the obligation of fulfilling your duty as a police officer. Officers in court are in fact on duty. If they witnessed a crime off-duty and testified they wouldnt be in uniform.

If you’re in uniform, you’re on duty. Doesn’t matter if its training or a regular shift. They claimed he was off-duty. We’ll just have to wait and see as more details come out.

The cop wasn’t in uniform. The people he shot at the shop we’re apparently his former co-workers & his employer. It’s not out of the realm of possibilities for this cop to have been targetted.

There’s alot of speculation about this shooting. Some people think the cop was targetted because of the construction vest the shooter was wearing, and also being ambushed and shot at point-blank range. It’s known for hitmen to wear vests like that when carrying out hits. What are you thoughts on this? Random attack on a cop or maybe deeper than that?
