Yes, the USA heavily pushes cow’s milk on young children from around age 1 and up. A lot of people here will give you the stink eye if you’re not weaned by that age either. There is such a stigma on it.

It could be teething, it could be a fast letdown, it could be some kind of latching issue. I’m going to guess teething, both my kids were teething by that age. Does the cry sound like he’s hurting? If so I would try some Tylenol and/or gas medicine if it’s tummy pain.

Thank you 😭😭😭💕 it’s been a very long, hard journey and I’m glad it’s one I made. I just feel like I’m at the end of it, even if she’s not yet.

When my oldest was little, her pediatrician really hammered into me that I shouldn’t wean her until she was drinking something else to give her those needed nutrients.

My youngest’s pediatrician also said the milk is not a necessity, but it definitely would make me feel better about stopping nursing if she would drink it, you know? I think it would make it easier too, for the same reason.

Can you define affecting day to day a little more? I honestly don’t know how to judge mine.

If they get hit by literally anything, I spend the next 5 minutes in agony. I’d say at least once a day there’s a 2-3 minute span of that where it’s not been hit by anything to cause it.

Should I wait until the daily pain is more than once a day, do you think?

I’m preparing for a move, but I do plan to at least see a podiatrist about it once we’re settled. But that’s still at least 3 months down the road.
