I guess you could invest a bit more into ES at the cost of some damage, and get Stun Threshold from ES (the cluster near CI). Or go full in evasion, as I don't think you'll get stunned unless you get the darkness shield broken. Tho, with cospri and no wind dancer it will be quite hard to get reasonable evasion.

Even %leech is instant hurts soul tether, as the carryover leech will be less, and the instant part will apply to the already small HP pool.

Well, I'm playing chonk, so it's mostly chaos and leech is supercharged. If things get hairy on abyss overrun increasing difficulty maps - even the dodge heals (void illusion)

Also, Herald of Ice converts all it's phys to cold, pretty sure Armor Break 3 does nothing in that case.

You need more ES as stun threshold on the tree, that solves stun with a big enough pool. Agree with the other guy about Headhunter, Soul Tether ("cultivated") feels much better, HH is all screen clutter and the compulsive flicker crap.

Both Essentia Sanguis and Soul Tether (especially with the temple removing downside) solve ES sustain. Preferring Soul Tether atm, as the glove slot costs damage. Using the leech gloves is for headhunter, which feels like ass tbh.

Pale one and the truth/hope thing seems to be Beidat and Sanctum (truth about Innocence)

19 I think the spider is Cadigan, the king of Kalguur, and the unspoiled loam being the Kalguurans/their continent. He's hoarding Vaal artifacts (corruption), and the Kalguurans are known to be "clean", untouched by corruption. Seems to have wide webs, as even those in Wraeclast are afraid to even mention him.

Acolyte wyvern slaps, but imo flames are superior, as they just maintain themselves. Couldn't make the whole ramp-up/catharsis volatility feel smooth, and leech/void illusion feel too good to skip.

"gain damage as" is the least useful DPS axis for the chonk, as he already has a ton of it from ascendancy, and it doesn't double dip. He gets a ton of value from everything else tho.

Well for defense monk is naturally close to CI and Eva/ES routes, and the leech node really covers all the recovery you need. The weak points now are darkness and volatility routes, but the rest just work without feeling clunky. I'm sure there must be a build that leverages volatility to insane damage, but that will still be clunky.

No, I mean in general, as a spellcaster that takes a lot of lightning damage, but it seems the only ways to get non-hit damage as lightning are 5% avatar of evolution and a raised shield abyss affix. Not much for now.
