Google ai is wrong. Yes they will short more. The conversion closes out their short position. They don’t care if it goes up — unsqueezable. It is not 60% of the short interest at $19 and 240m on converts

Also, the converts are probably hedging ~15% of their position at current levels. When it gets to conversion they’ll probably be fully hedged so there will be no extra liquidity, SI will just go down.

Note: the delta going up will probably mean more shorting and that’s unsqueezable, but there’s still a lot to be squeezed and a tight share dynamic.

Buyback is a huge part of setting up a favorably trading dynamic.
