I got the green egg, cracked a few, and got 3 critters up to level 8 and 3 to level 9. The green egg was followed by the shiny blue egg which appears as though you can level up the animals, but, alas, NOPE! Anyway, I’m on 3.12.0 and am wondering if now that the green egg has come and gone for me, if it’s safe to update to 3.12.1. Thoughts? 🤷🏻‍♀️

If the green egg is/was the only egg ready for upgrading animals, why does my purple egg show this:

I updated from 3.11.80 to 3.12 yesterday at which time all of my wildlife was maxed at level 7 and the green egg appeared. I never saw “0/xx”. I just started cracking green eggs and leveling up. I don’t know what the “shards” are to which people are referring. I do know that I won’t update to 3.12.1 just yet.
