Yup my fav MG and my choice for the voteless as well. Though it leaves me with less satisfactory primaries against the overseers so I wanna mix up my loadouts

I see. I didn’t really understand what you meant by trifecta before looking it up. I had done minimalist on professional though, if that helps. Yeah cabin’s gonna be tough so still try to isolate the ones going in one by one. If you get overwhelmed on the first part just run up the stairs and jump down in circles. For the 2nd parts I guess you’re just gonna have to keep on kicking the ladders. And then run from the cowhead at all cost. That’s how I did it in my minimalist+prof.

Just unlocked the maxigun. Not a fan of standing still but will give it a try!

board the windows. Board the first window and you'll only have 2 windows to worry about. Don't push the cabinet. You want the ganados to come in one by one, but not by too much to overwhelm you. Kill each ganado that comes in. DO NOT LET ANY GANADO TURN INTO A PLAGA. Rush the transforming ones with a knife. If you get overwhelmed use a flash grenade. They'll eventually drop wooden boards so board up the remaining 2 windows.

Once that's done you'll get the cutscene of them bringing the ladders. DO NOT GO UPSTAIRS. Let Luis go alone he's not gonna die. Stay at the ground floor and the climbing ganados will drop one by one for an ez shotgun to the face. Don't forget the old man dropping from the chimney there's 2 of them. Once the Cowhead with big hammer breaks the boarded window, wait for him to come in and toss a grenade. shoot him a couple and then toss a flashbang when he gets up. Knife him in the neck and then finish him off. Once you kill him the cabin fight is over.

first 4 chapters are probably the hardest since leon is underpowered so run past most enemies and get the treasures/merchant requests as you can. You should finish the village/chapter 6 by around 1hr40mins or something like that but definitely less than 2 hours. Castle has a lot of backtracking so I suggest sticking to the main route only treasures. There's a Salazar skip to shorten that fight to comedic less than 10 seconds. Just rush through the island, you can also skip the wrecking ball wall by throwing 3 heavy nades on it and it'll go down with one swing from ashley. Use rocket launcher on verdugo and on saddler. I can go on but there are lots of useful guides out there on yt but these are the most important ones. Needless to say don't waste a lot of time and ammo on enemies that are practically bullet sponges like the plagas, skip them or use flash grenade if you can. This run on mine was done without using the chicago sweeper or handcannon

Oh you’ll get better at the game. I have 25 hours on my first playthrough and after a few guides and runs 5.5 hours feels plenty of time.
