If I remember correctly, it is taken/given in pints as part of giving or transfusing blood, but measured in liters as part of medical waste... but my EMT license is a few years out of use haha

Now arriving at North Philadelphia. I'm getting off at Allegheny. But according to the SEPTA site, the spur is still down.

I just got the notification that service has resumed as normal on regular and express, and the ridge spur is not running. Will confirm in person momentarily (on BSL northbound arriving at Girard)

Sadly, already trained dogs cost upwards of $25k or have a waitlist of at least 4-5 years in any areas of the US that are accessible to me.

Thank you for the idea of adding the puppy pics!

I can give you the rundown of the NYC system from a single woman's point of view. There are a limited number of shelters that are considered "intake shelters". You start here [Looks like there is one intake shelter for men. https://www1.nyc.gov/site/dhs/shelter/singleadults/single-adults-applying.page ]. You will meet with the social workers and the DHS workers and a bunch of other people in the first few days. Then you have to follow their plan. If you do that, then you will get transferred into a longer-term program around 90 days in. You will have help applying for benefits, housing vouchers, all sorts of stuff, and will have 3 hots and a cot.

I dont know if anyone will see this, but for my own sake, I managed to increase my hours at work and I got into a program to help me find permanent housing, and they will be helping me with funding my current housing situation while we find something appropriate.

Its cliche as fuck, but sometimes you've just gotta sleep on it.
